can you see the difference? All the Eathlings tried so hard to get to Elysium by paying so much for passes and residential ID as they want to escape from poverty, crimes and to get medical care (there's machine in Elysium that can cure all sort of sickness or disabilities). One day, Max accidentally being trapped and being exposed to radioactive ray. The only way for him to survive is to get into Elysium to get treated by the machine. He seek for Spider's help and in return, Spider wants him to get the codes of a billionaire, John Carlyle.

On the other hand, Elysium also do have political issue whereby, Secretary Delacourt aims on the president position of Elysium. She hired Kruger to help her on her missions. There starts the battle between Elysium, Kruger and Max, Spider.

Opinion:
In most parts of the movie, i felt quite bored actually. There are some parts which involves action between Max and his team with Kruger and his team. I like to see the action between Kruger and Max, it's the part i think is interesting. So i would say that this movie is normal only. But this is just my opinion for the movie, some of you or most of you might think it's an awesome movie

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones Movie Review

Thanks to Nuffnang for this awesome movie premiere passes at GSC, Mid Valley!
From what i know is that The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones is a young adult novel, so i would assume that it's gonna be interesting. Scroll down for more info

Release Date: 22 Aug 2013
Genre: Action (P13)
Running Time: 130 minutes
Director: Harald Zwart
Cast:Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, Lena Headey, Jonathan Rhys Meyers

Trailer:

Synopsis:
Based on The New York Times bestselling young adult novel, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones follows the journey of Clary Fray (Mirror Mirror’s Lily Collins), a seemingly ordinary teenager who discovers that she is in fact a descendant from a long line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from assorted demons; a battle largely unseen by human eyes.

So the whole thing starts from Clary, an ordinary girl who frequently draw a shape of Rune and saw a shape of Rune sometimes where her friend, Simon couldn't see. Then her mother went missing after being attacked by the demons. Clary was then protected and being cared by Jace, a ShadowHunter. Soon, Clary joined the group of remaining ShadowHunters (Demon Fighters) in The Institute to seek for the Mortal Cup before the demons get it. Of course, at the same time looking for Clary's Mother.

Opinion:
For me, i do think that this movie is good but it need some improvements. On the bright side, this movie contain some scenes which are humorous. Hence, it involves a love triangle. However, i do think that some parts of the movie, they did not explain or resolve viewers thought (maybe it's just me and my friend who have some question marks after the movie). While there's also a part about Simon, they did not show what happen to him after bitten by vampire.
However, I think girls will like this movie. If they have done a better storyline, i will rate it higher ^^

Ethan Hawke, Lena Headey, Rhys Wakefield, Max Burkholder, Adelaide Kane

Movie Genre:
Horror, Thriller

Running Time:
85 minutes

Release Date:
22 August 2013

Trailer:

Synopsis:
If on one night every year, you could commit any crime without facing consequences, what would you do? In The Purge, a speculative thriller that follows one family over the course of a single night, four people will be tested to see how far they will go to protect themselves when the vicious outside world breaks into their home.

Opinion:
First of all, I will say that the boy was way too naive to disarming their house security system to save a guy from being purge *I was actually so damn piss off on that boy the moment when he key in the passcode piff*. Then, the nightmare for the Sandin's family begins. On the other hand, before the annual purge event happen. I managed to predict what that person will do to them. Overall, i think that this movie was not a good horror movie. It is also stupid to have the annual Purge thingy. I just can't imagine any countries really do have this Purge thingy. It's insane.

Thanks to ChurpChurp for this awesome movie premiere

Release Date: 08 Aug 2013
Genre:Action / Adventure / Drama / Family / Fantasy
Running Time: 105 minutes
Director:Thor Freudenthal
Cast:Logan Lerman, Brandon T. Jackson, Alexandra Daddario

Movie Trailer

Synopsis:
Based on the best-selling book, PERCY JACKSON: SEA OF MONSTERS continues the young demigod’s epic journey to fulfill his destiny. To save their world, Percy and his friends must find the fabled and magical Golden Fleece. Embarking on a treacherous odyssey into the uncharted waters of the Sea of Monsters, they battle terrifying creatures, an army of zombies, and the ultimate Evil.

Opinion:
Through this movie, we get to know how the demgod's world are protected. The character of Tyson actually brings fun to this movie. But it would have been more interesting if the battle between Percy Jackson and the Kronos become more intense. Somehow Sea of Monsters enables us to learn something by highlighting that we should not be stereotype or discriminate others which are different than us (For example Tyson case). I do think that it isn't necessary to watch it in 3D, as there are much more movies which are worth watching with 3D compare to this movie *Just my own opinion*

It's up to Papa, Clumsy, Grouchy, and Vanity to return to our world, reunite with their human friends Patrick and Grace Winslow, and rescue her! Will Smurfette, who has always felt different from the other Smurfs, find a new connection with the Naughties Vexy and Hackus ¬ or will the Smurfs convince her that their love for her is True Blue? Returning cast includes Neil Patrick Harris, Jayma Mays, Sofia Vegara, Hank Azaria as Gargamel and Katy Perry as Smurfette. Brendan Gleeson joins the cast as Victor Winslow.

Opinion:
For me, i do think that it's quite funny and entertaining when it comes to scene of Gargamel and his cat, Azarel scene. It's like one of the highlight of the funny part of this movie. Hence, I actually like the scenes of Smurfette and naughties (Vexy and Hackus) being naughty. It is also entertaining and something different that the other three smurfs that followed papa to save Smurfette are different compare to The Smurfs 1. Different Smurfs have their own uniqueness. Overall i do think that it is a worth watching movie for kids and parents. Maybe teenagers and adults too lol.
